Botanical drawing is a time-honored way of studying and appreciating the natural world. This synthesis of art and science reached its peak with the naturalists of the 17th and 18th centuries, but still applies today as a study tool and as an enhancement to personal and visual journaling. JoAnn McGeever Metzger teaches all levels of students from beginners to experienced artists. Join her in exploring and drawing California’s native plants.
