Visit the Garden Growers Nursery at the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden to find a dependable supply of the best garden-friendly California native plants.

Garden Growers Nursery Hours:
March – October
10 am – 5:30 pm

November – February
10 am – 4:30 pm

We are open 7 days a week, during regular Garden Shop hours, 361 days a year!
Additionally, we offer two HUGE plant sales annually, the Fall Plant Sale in October and in the Spring Plant Sale in April, featuring the very best selection of California native plants on the Central Coast.

The Garden Growers Nursery offers hard to find plants rarely grown by other nurseries.
You will find the Garden's own selection of SBBG cultivars (such as Iris 'Canyon Snow' or Verbena 'De La Mina'), a variety of annuals,  a selection of interesting perennials in small pots, and specimen plants in large pots.

Beautiful garden accents and gift items are also available: dish gardens, hummingbird feeders, birdhouses, ceramic pots and more.

Our Garden Growers Volunteers are on hand to assist visitors from 10 am to 3 pm. Plants may be purchased on a self-serve basis through the Garden Shop when volunteers are not available.

All Garden Members receive a 10% discount on all purchases and all proceeds go directly to support Garden programs.
